Auto Mechanic

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled Auto Mechanic to join our team, reporting directly to the Shop Manager. This role requires expertise in a variety of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks, handling a mix of project types. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and customer service, with occasional local travel as part of the job. Responsibilities Perform engine repair and maintenance Conduct brake system maintenance and repairs Carry out diagnostic testing using automotive tools Service transmissions and handle transmission repairs Complete electrical system troubleshooting and repairs Maintain HVAC systems within vehicles Manage tools and equipment efficiently Ensure compliance with safety standards Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and solutions Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience in automotive repair Strong diagnostics skills High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Proficient in engine diagnostics and repair Experienced in brake systems and transmission repair Skilled in electrical systems troubleshooting and HVAC repair Expertise in using automotive tools and equipment Strong customer service skills Excellent problem-solving abilities High attention to detail Basic Tools Show up on time Preferred Qualifications Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Willingness for occasional local travel \nCompany Description AR Motors is a small family owned automotive shop working on all makes and models.
