Quantitative Researcher for AI Training

Role Overview
Apply quantitative research and STEM expertise to improve next generation AI systems through detailed, real world technical work. This remote contract role centers on demonstrating how AI coding agents can support complex problem solving, codebase analysis, debugging, feature development, and architectural decisions. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Use Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork in real technical projects, documenting advanced workflows and outcomes.
- Analyze large codebases, investigate and resolve complex technical issues, and develop new features with support from AI coding agents.
- Explain technical processes and decision making clearly, including architectural changes, ambiguous challenges, and sequential code generation workflows.
- Create high quality written deliverables with step by step breakdowns of AI agent use in STEM contexts.
- Participate in virtual discussions and feedback sessions with project stakeholders.
- Provide structured input that helps refine AI models'' reasoning and problem solving using real world experience.
Qualifications
- Current STEM professional with hands on experience using AI coding agents in technical workflows.
- Proficiency with Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork, especially for generating sequential outputs rather than chat based interactions.
- Ability to solve complex, ambiguous, or open ended technical problems using AI agent tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with clear and detailed technical documentation.
- Experience with large codebases, debugging, feature development, or significant code architecture changes supported by AI agents.
- Ability to translate complex processes into material that supports AI training, educational, or evaluative content.
- Interest in sharing practical strategies that advance AI driven technical problem solving.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
- Virtual collaboration and feedback participation are part of the role.
Compensation
- $80 to $100 per hour.
