Our client, a reputable healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care, is hiring a highly qualified Endocrinologist. This vital role offers an opportunity to join a dedicated team in a thriving outpatient practice, focusing on diagnosing and managing endocrine disorders such as diabetes, hypothyroidism, and metabolic conditions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in improving patients' health and quality of life through comprehensive clinical care, patient education, and teamwork.
\nResponsibilities

- Diagnose and treat endocrine conditions, including diabetes, hypothyroidism, and metabolic disorders. \n
- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations, order necessary diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans. \n
- Prescribe medications and tailor therapeutic regimens to patient needs, promoting health maintenance and disease management. \n
- Educate and counsel patients on their conditions and self-management strategies. \n
- Document all clinical encounters accurately within the Electronic Medical Record, including exam and progress notes. \n
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly. \n
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, high-quality care while adhering to HIPAA and other regulatory standards. \n
- Support educational initiatives and meet quality benchmarks established by relevant healthcare agencies. \n
- Build and maintain a robust patient base to ensure practice sustainability and revenue generation. \n
Requirements

- MD or DO degree. \n
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology. \n
- NYS Licensure. \n
- Postgraduate clinical experience in an outpatient, ambulatory setting. \n
