Service Tech

Job Overview Join our Technical Service Department as an Equipment Technician at Wenger. In this hands‑on role, you will install, repair, and maintain Wenger extruders and related equipment, supporting our customers across the United States. The position involves domestic and international travel and requires residency near the Sabetha, KS area. Responsibilities Provide on‑site technical service and support during field visits Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer locations Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently Conduct equipment testing and ensure operational stability Deliver technical training to customers as needed Maintain safety standards and follow client specifications Be available for work outside regular business hours, including weekends and holidays Understand extrusion processes for pet food, aquafeed, human food, and industrial starches Minimum Requirements Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred) Hands‑on experience with mechanical systems, electrical components, or industrial equipment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a technical environment Hourly Pay $28.00 - $34.00 an hour. Salary varies by location, qualifications, and experience.
