Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 08/17/2026
Shift: Days – 3×12 Hours (6:45 AM–7:15 PM or 9:00 AM–9:30 PM)

Job Summary

Join a nationally recognized 407-bed acute care hospital in Anchorage, AK. We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of OR experience to provide exceptional perioperative care across a wide variety of surgical specialties in an 18-room operating suite performing approximately 40 cases per day .

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
• Circulate and assist with complex surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
• Ensure accurate specimen handling, infection prevention, patient safety, and documentation.
• Operate within a multidisciplinary team while utilizing Epic EMR .
• Participate in limited on-call coverage for staff call-offs and float to like units if needed.

Requirements

• Active Alaska RN License (required for Auto Offer)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• BLS required
• ACLS & CNOR preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Experience with Level I or Level II Trauma is a plus
