We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our private dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. Duties

• Assist the dentist during various procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and dental surgery
• Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Perform medical imaging tasks, including taking X-rays as directed by the dentist.
• Manage patient records and assist with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Ensure all dental instruments are sterilized and organized for use.
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Skills

• Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, particularly X-ray procedures.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry practices is preferred.
• Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control measures.
• Familiarity with dental systems and software for managing patient records.
• Ability to assist in various dental procedures effectively.
• Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus, showcasing strong communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 48 per week
