The Cardiothoracic Operating Room Nurse plays a critical role in the care and management of patients undergoing open-heart surgery. The nurse will work alongside a dedicated team to provide quality care in a fast-paced environment focused on patient safety and well-being. Responsibilities Assist in various cardiothoracic procedures including CABG, valve replacements, and ECMO. Participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage as needed. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards throughout surgical procedures. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience in Cardiothoracic service line with a focus on open-heart procedures.
