Staff Geotechnical Engineer

Oasis Consulting Services is currently hiring a Staff Geotechnical Engineer to support our Canton, Georgia office and Metro Atlanta region. Applicants will be responsible for project management, report preparation, and monitoring job sites. Position requires travel as-needed. Level and pay commensurate with experience. Job Description Geotechnical Engineering Evaluation and Subsurface Exploration Special Inspections and Construction Materials Testing Services Project management Report preparation or review of reports Field work, including sampling events or site visits Growth potential for employee supervision and management Limited travel possible Requirements B.S. in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field; Master's degree a plus 2-4 years of professional experience related to engineering Preferred but not required: EIT or GIT certificate, 40-Hour HAZWOPER and 8-hour Refreshers Willingness to travel in order to complete field assignments Ability to work outdoors and in certain weather conditions Oasis offers a competitive salary with a generous benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K, Personal Time Off (PTO), paternal leave, short and long-term disability, and direct deposit.
