Summary:

A bit about us:
We are an easygoing, welcoming family of 3 who recently moved to the Campbell area and are excited to settle into our new community. We love spending time outdoors, animals, bike rides, running and reading. I (Mom) work from home, and my husband works from home 1-2 times a week. Although I will sometimes be available (and free to chat or get some baby snuggles), we will need a nanny who can confidently take the lead during the workday. We also have two small, friendly dogs (Franklin and Penny) who will want to be your friend too, so comfort with affectionate pets is important.

Our 11-month-old daughter is observant, engaging, and active. She loves climbing, music, and anything tactile.

A bit about you:
You are warm, patient, playful, and comfortable communicating openly with parents. You enjoy following a child’s natural rhythm rather than relying on a rigid schedule, and you can adapt thoughtfully as the day unfolds. You are attentive and interactive, and you love helping young children learn through hands-on play. You value a screen-free environment and understand the importance of privacy and discretion in a work-from-home household.

Job Duties:
Provide attentive care throughout the day, including preparing age-appropriate meals and small bites, supporting breastfeeding routines, changing diapers, assisting with two daily naps, reading, playing, and creating developmentally appropriate learning opportunities. You will encourage active and sensory play through music, tactile activities, climbing, outdoor time, and other experiences that support curiosity and emerging skills. Child-related household responsibilities include baby laundry, tidying play and eating areas, cleaning up after meals, and keeping the child’s belongings organized.

Qualifications:
5 years of childcare experience caring for children between newborn and 3 years old, CPR certified or willing to get, fluent in English, willing to complete a drug screening if requested, willing to sign a work NDA if requested, comfortable around small dogs, and willing to care for children through mild, noncontagious illnesses.

Set yourself apart (Nice-to-have):
A college degree, experience caring for two children in case our family grows in the future, the ability to speak Spanish or Japanese, a reliable personal vehicle, and knowledge of kid-friendly activities in the area would be wonderful bonuses (not required).

Schedule: Monday-Thursday (9a-5p)
Friday (9a-1p)
*Flexibility is needed to work until 6p with advance warning.

Pay: $32-$37 per hour
