Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Calling all Compounding Pharmacy Technicians:

With a salary starting at $25.00, Rx relief is looking for the right person to fill multiple Compounding Pharmacy Technician positions right now.

Job Specifics and Requirements:

Area: Lake Charles, LA

Licensure Requirements: Must have open, active, and in good standing Louisiana Pharmacy Technician License and be PTCB certified

Education: H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.

Experience Needed: 1+ years

Schedule: Full-Time

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 DOE

Background/ Drug Requirements: Ability to successfully complete background check, health and drug screen

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in inventory management of medications and supplies

Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure quality and accuracy of compounded medications

Participate in quality assurance and quality control processes

Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils

Stay updated on current compounding regulations and best practices

Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients as needed

Assist in managing hazardous drug handling and disposal

Contribute to the development and improvement of standard operating procedures

Perform routine maintenance and calibration of compounding equipment

Assist in preparing and packaging final products for dispensing or shipping
