Home base is West Siteman Cancer Center lab, but will also float to South Siteman and South CAM building. Job Details Full Time - 40 Hours Per Week, M-F, Rotating Weekends Day Shift: 7am-3:30pm Perks: Benefits Eligible Location: Barnes Jewish Hospital Minimum Requirement: HS Diploma/GED Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred Overview Performs non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection. Role Purpose Performs non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection. Responsibilities Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity. Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times. Interacts with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments.
