IT Project Manager (Healthcare Systems)

Requirements

• 8 or more years of experience in IT project management, with a required PMP certification.

• Proficiency in Agile Scrum and/or SAFe delivery methodologies for software project execution.

• Experience in project budgeting, formal business case development, and project charter preparation.

• Experience managing technical software development teams and customer-facing Integrated Product Teams.

• Experience with business analysis, process mapping, and requirements documentation for healthcare insurance systems, utilizing Azure DevOps and PPM systems to oversee User Acceptance Testing.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong stakeholder management across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, and oversee the full project lifecycle for IT initiatives supporting healthcare insurance systems.

• Lead Agile Scrum and/or SAFe ceremonies to guide software development team execution.

• Manage customer-facing Integrated Product Teams alongside technical software development staff.

• Facilitate business analysis and process mapping efforts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Track project work items, sprints, and deliverables using Azure DevOps and PPM systems.

• Oversee User Acceptance Testing cycles and prepare formal business cases and project charters for stakeholder review.
