Landscaping Construction Crew Leader

SavATree's landscape technicians are responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring that landscapes are visually appealing, healthy, and environmentally sustainable. They use their knowledge of aesthetics to creatively design gardens, walkways, sitting areas, bridges, and other functional aspects of outdoor areas. Duties can include making sure plants grow well in their assigned area as well as cleaning up debris around yards and other areas. In this role you will have you will have the opportunity to work outside on beautiful properties in your community, You will apply your expertise to ensure the on-going health, beauty and well-being of each client’s landscape. Pay is between $30-$38/hr based on experience + benefits + PTO + 401k. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $3,000, determined by experience and credentials at time of hire. Will be exposed to dust, dyes, grease, odors, mechanical and electrical hazards, and all types of weather and temperature conditions. Job requires ability to work with hand tools, small and large engine equipment, skid steers, and loaders. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent stamina is required. Work with and near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis What kind of person are we looking for? The ability to run various types of equipment, who enjoys heavy lifting in various weather conditions. A Degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or equivalent experience 1-2 years of hands‑on experience in lawn care maintenance and turf application Horticulture/Arboriculture Trade Certification a bonus Knowledge of plants, trees, and grasses in growing, pruning, and fertilizing shrubs, lawns, bushes, trees, and flowers Minimum 2 years of experience in landscape related field Must be able to operate equipment safely. The responsibility and independence to work autonomously. Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills to understand and meet client needs.
