CTE Inc. is a long-established progressive die Metal Stamper that uses high speed punch presses to make parts. Pay is commensurate with relevant experience. Quality Engineer will support the stamping process through these Essential Duties:

·        Coordinates with Management on quality and production issues.

·        Design, assemble and maintain sensor packages and inline machine vision for die safety, part detection and measurement purposes.

·        Develop and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions for Customer, Supplier and Production Issues.

·        Update and maintain Control Plans/FMEA for all stamped parts.

·        Ensure processes meet current CTE, ISO 9001 and AS9100 Standards

·        Communicates directly with customers on quality issues

·        Ensures customers’ quality requirements are being met, including APQP and PPAP requirements

·        Assists in the inspection of stamped product, including programming automated inspection

·        Requisitions materials, parts, and supplies for Quality

·        Promote continuous improvement in the manufacturing processes through the use of statistical techniques

·        Coordinates with Management on the disposition of nonconforming material

·        Maintain, catalog and distribute customer drawings, specifications and Change Notices (ECN’s). Initiate and approve CSR’s (Customer Specification / Print Review Form)
