Field Service Specialist

It is critical that the new hire resides in Worcester County, M Summary/Objective veField Service Engineers (FSEs) represent the company working in customer laboratories throughout their assigned region and nationwide as needed. FSEs provide service for histology laboratory equipment addressing any needs, concerns, and questions they might have. Working with their assigned Service Coordinator, coordinate schedule with customer and maintain communication regarding estimated time of arrival, job status, equipment status, and time of completion and departure from account along with their direct manager and the customer. Perform all service calls to the Avantik standards of training and protocol ensuring they are upholding company core values at all time onsPerform emergency repairs and preventative maintenance according to Avantik service levels and the documented PM protoco ls.Maintain possession of proper parts inventory necessary for emergency repairs and PM tas ks.Evaluate client labs for additional service opportuniti es.Compile necessary service reports for repairs and PM date stickers for all instruments servi ce.Coordinate schedule with client and maintain communication regarding estimated time of arriv al.Record service reports and send to Service Coordinator electronically at the time of service while onsite at the customers locati on.Follow up with Service Coordinator to ensure service documentation is up to date and comple te.Restock inventory as parts become available.
