Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) working in a healthcare facility located in Somerset, KY. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services to a diverse patient population, including pediatric cases, within a state-of-the-art acute care hospital. The role requires a committed healthcare professional to work overnight shifts, delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights (6:30 PM 6:45 AM), minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications as a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT), 0-2 years of experience, and educational prerequisites related to respiratory therapy. Candidates must be appropriately licensed and certified prior to start date.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with pediatric patient populations and familiarity with advanced respiratory equipment.
• Additional Information: Orientation is conducted weekly on Mondays. The hospital is a 295-bed acute care facility serving an 11-county region, offering services such as cardiac care and advanced neurosurgery. The unit employs a large team of healthcare professionals, including physicians representing multiple specialties. This position is a replacement of perm staff, and candidates must be at least 60 miles from the facility for consideration.
