About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, CPI (completed during onboarding); NRP, TNCC preferred Must-Have: Previous charge experience required Must have experience with patient ratios of 1:4, can be up to 5 with lower acuity Description: Emergency Department Registered Nurse position available. Rotating night/evening shifts are required. This is a very fast-paced Emergency Department setting. Patient age range includes all age groups from infant to geriatric. Weekend shifts every other weekend are required. Required to work holidays as assigned. Floating within the Emergency Department and sister facilities may be needed. Pre-scheduled on-call shifts are not required. Patient diagnoses vary but include complex cases involving all systems. Daily visits in the Emergency Department average around 90. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Candidates must be comfortable with floating within the specialty without restrictions. All former staff must be away for 12 months before returning as a traveler. Compliance documentation is necessary prior to the start of the contract. Candidates must meet all certification requirements prior to submission.
