Job Summary

We are seeking a Forward Deployed Agentic AI SR Lead for a high-impact temp-to-hire opportunity in Charlotte, NC within the banking and consumer lending industry. This senior role sits at the intersection of Agentic AI, product delivery, process transformation, enterprise architecture, and banking operations.

The Forward Deployed Agentic AI SR Lead will help bring next-generation AI solutions out of concept and into live enterprise operations. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who has successfully delivered production AI platforms, intelligent automation, agentic workflows, and measurable business transformation.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end forward deployment of agentic AI solutions into live banking operations for automation, decision support, and process transformation.
- Conduct discovery sessions, analyze SOPs, runbooks, workflows, process mining outputs, and operational artifacts to identify AI automation opportunities.
- Design and implement multi-step LLM agents using reasoning, tool use, function calling, orchestration, structured outputs, RAG, and contextual grounding.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, security, risk, compliance, and operations teams to move AI products from discovery through production deployment.
- Build reusable agent frameworks, skills libraries, prompt templates, workflow components, governance standards, and best practices.
- Define KPIs, quantify business value, build ROI models, and support enterprise adoption of agentic AI across banking operations.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $151,840 to $155,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead implementation and forward deployment of agentic AI products into enterprise banking operations.
- Convert operational workflows, SOPs, runbooks, process mining outputs, and related artifacts into AI-ready solution designs.
- Design and deliver LLM-based agents capable of reasoning, tool use, automation, and decision support.
- Manage product delivery from discovery through production while aligning with enterprise architecture, security, risk, and governance standards.

- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in AI product delivery, forward deployed engineering, systems engineering, process engineering, or related enterprise technology roles.
- Hands-on experience with LLM platforms such as Claude, GPT, Gemini, or similar GenAI technologies.
- Proven experience building or deploying agentic AI systems in production environments.
- Strong understanding of tool-augmented LLMs, function calling, orchestration, structured outputs, RAG, and contextual grounding.
- Experience with MCP tools or comparable LLM-to-system integration frameworks.
- Ability to analyze structured and unstructured process artifacts and translate them into executable automation workflows.
- Product ownership or product management experience, including discovery, requirements definition, backlog management, prioritization, and delivery execution.
- Ability to define KPIs, quantify business value, and build ROI or value realization models for AI initiatives.
- Understanding of banking operations, operational risk, compliance expectations, and control frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence business, operations, engineering, risk, compliance, and technology teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, documentation, and leadership skills in complex enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in commercial banking, corporate banking, investment banking, consumer lending, or other regulated financial services environments.
- Background in consulting, forward deployed engineering, AI product teams, operational excellence, BPM, or process re-engineering.
- Experience building reusable enterprise AI platforms, agent frameworks, skills libraries, prompt libraries, or workflow orchestration assets.
- Exposure to automation platforms, process mining tools, enterprise APIs, data integration frameworks, or AI governance models.
- Experience enabling AI adoption through training, documentation, best practices, standards, and operating model development.
