Who You Are Calm, steady, and comfortable with a quieter environment Respectful of space, comfortable with silence, works well solo, and can be soft spoken. Extremely organized and detail‑oriented – maintain systems, create order, and note when something is out of place. Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record; experience transporting people professionally, arriving on time and patient when appointments run long. Self‑motivated and proactive; see tasks before they are assigned and take initiative. Discreet and trustworthy; confidentiality and professionalism are essential. Flexible and adaptable, especially when timelines shift, vendors arrive, or travel schedules change. Kind, respectful, and open‑minded; these qualities are essential. Comfortable with dogs and a tortoise; interaction with both will take place and is essential. Willingness to travel; comfortable traveling long distances by vehicle, plane, and potentially aboard small aircraft. Core Responsibilities Schedule Management & Organization Maintain household organization systems (closets, pantry, storage, office, garage, porch, etc.). Daily resets of common spaces; maintain overall neatness, ensure home is prepped for cleaning services. Seasonal swaps for clothing, décor, household items and sporting gear. Maintain household schedules and calendars. Keep the garage and other storage areas organized and tidy. Help prepare for guest stays, holidays, and events. Assist with packing/unpacking for travel and seasonal transitions. Supervise or coordinate vendors and service providers (cleaners, landscapers, handyman, etc.). Daily tidying tasks — load dishwasher, wipe surfaces, vacuum high‑traffic areas, trash/recycling, etc. Chauffeur to and from appointments as scheduled, arriving and departing on time. Inventory Management & Errands Track and restock toiletries and household supplies. Create and manage running household supply lists. Run errands: grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, gift purchases, flowers, supplies, etc. Manage mail, packages, and deliveries. Bring items to/from storage as needed. Assist with unboxing, organizing products, and recycling breakdown. Meal Preparation Prep meals occasionally as needed, generally three days a week. Occasional grocery shopping for meals and staples. Clean kitchen after meal prep; maintain tidy workspace. Follow all dietary considerations. Laundry & Linen Care Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry (clothing, bedding, towels). Steam or iron clothing and prepare outfits as needed. Keep laundry areas tidy, organized, and stocked with supplies. Handle delicates according to care instructions (e.g., take to dry cleaner). Pet Care Occasionally feed and walk dogs. Keep pet supplies organized and stocked. Feed, water and maintain bedding for tortoise. Vehicle Management Schedule and oversee car repair, maintenance and detailing appointments. Keep vehicles clean, fueled, organized, and in good running condition. Vendor & Property Oversight Identify, schedule, and supervise service providers. Research and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and quotes. Oversee outdoor spaces and seasonal maintenance needs; maintain outdoor areas and furniture. Cleaning & Special Projects Tackle occasional projects as assigned. Refresh porch, garage, entryway seasonally. Administrative & Personal Assistant Support Support travel planning, scheduling, destination searches, and logistics. Manage calendars and reminders, updating calendars appropriately with commitments. Assist with coordination of appointments, events, and guest prep.
