Senior Accounting Consultant

Senior Accountant Location: New Brunswick, NJ (Hybrid client-facing) Employment Type: Full-Time. Estimated Compensation: $100,000-$160,000 base + performance incentives + profit sharing + full benefits (Compensation is based on level and experience, with bonus potential tied to performance and impact) This is an opportunity to move beyond routine audit cycles and into engagements that include IPO readiness, SEC reporting, M&A transactions, carve‑outs, and technical accounting solutions directly impacting C‑suite decision‑making. Each engagement is tailored to your strengths, giving you exposure across multiple industries and financial environments. Candidates must currently or previously be with one of the following Top 8 firms: Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, BDO, RSM, Grant Thornton, or CBIZ/MHM. Ideal Candidates Will Have 2+ years of public accounting experience, including at least one full busy season as a senior CPA or progression toward CPA strongly preferred.​ A strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and FASB standards. Experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, audit readiness, or SEC compliance. Corporate finance/accounting experience in large public companies is a plus. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, macros).
