Through hands-on training, mentorship, and a culture of internal promotion, we empower you to reach your full potential and contribute to projects that truly matter.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Press Brake Operator located in Dallas, Texas.Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Press Brake Operator is responsible for operating a press brake machine to bend, shape, cut, and manipulate sheet metal and metal plates according to specifications.Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMWhat a typical day looks like:Operates a press brake to manufacture parts from sheet metal or metal plates.Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.Ensures that there are sufficient raw materials available.Measures and aligns materials to be used.Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.Performs routine maintenance on the press brake.Maintains a clean work area.Performs other related duties as assigned.The experience we're looking to add to our team:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience operating a press brake machine.At least one year of experience in metal fabrication or related work preferred.Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate press brake controls.Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans including blueprints and drawings.Strong attention to detail skills, basic computer and math skillsPhysical Requirements:Physically able to operate the press brake.Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a timeMust wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floorWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:Full range of medical, dental, and vision plansLife InsuranceShort-term and Long-term DisabilityMatching 401(k) ContributionsVacation and Paid Sick TimeTuition ReimbursementApplication Deadline:Applications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
