Branch ManagerTo provide the leadership and management skills necessary to achieve the goals established by our mission statement, core values, strategic intent, and financial plans to allow the branch to operate effectively, efficiently, and profitably. This position requires presence within the branch in order to facilitate the essential duties of the role, and to serve as a present member of branch leadership.Essential Job FunctionsEnsure the standardization of operational procedures, reporting, and controls throughout the departments and the branch.Monitor branch activities and processes to ensure that the company is utilizing "best practices" and achieving targeted financial and operational objectives and ratios.Provide sales and marketing leadership and direction that result in "real sales gains" (profitability) and overall growth in guardian market share.Maintain a close management tie with key customers of the branch and the company.Meet or exceed quarterly and annual financial budgets and goals that are established.Presence in the office on a consistent basis, 40 hours per weekRequirementsPersonnelEnsure that all company and branch policies are followed.Be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and motivating key employees, both operational and sales.Conduct annual reviews of each department managers within the branch.Participate in employee reviews with their department managers.Conduct and/or participate with corporate management in quarterly and annual sales reviews.Ensure that all DOE and EEOC laws and procedures are adhered to at the branch level.Ensure that all guardian and OSHA safety requirements are met 100% of the time.AdministrativeResponsibility for ensuring that branch and departmental budgets and performance requirements are met.Lead weekly operations and sales meetingsEnsure that all housekeeping expectations and requirements are met.Buildings and groundsVehicles and equipmentPersonnelJob sitesEnsure accountability and protection for all of the branch assets.Rolling stockEquipment and tools.
