Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart specialization in Rockford, Illinois. This role involves working independently in a surgical setting, primarily focusing on open heart procedures. The position offers a challenging and rewarding environment for qualified surgical technologists proficient in cardiac interventions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour days, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotational call coverage. Call shifts may include once weekly coverage and are limited to either Saturday or Sunday, not both, with a 24-hour call duration.
• Certifications, Education, Degree, and Experience Requirements: Graduate of an accredited program for surgical technologists; must have at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar setting; verification of surgical tech credentials required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in cardiac surgical procedures and scrub skills in independent settings.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: No local candidates (within 50 miles) are considered for this position.
