We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Architect to join our dynamic real estate development team focused on large-scale residential, mixed-use, hospitality, and lifestyle projects throughout South Florida. This individual will support the planning, design coordination, documentation, and execution of complex development and construction initiatives from early design through project closeout. Working alongside senior leadership, consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, and development partners, the Architect will assist with design reviews, construction documentation, permitting coordination, consultant communication, and project tracking to help ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with the company’s vision for quality and long-term value creation. POSITION WILL BE BASED OUT OF FORT LAUDERDALE, FL.

Key Responsibilities Design & Documentation Phase Assist in the review and coordination of architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and design documents. Support senior leadership and project teams with design development, space planning, and project documentation. Review consultant drawings for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project goals. Assist in preparing design presentations, project exhibits, schedules, and supporting materials. Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and internal teams to resolve design-related questions. Help track design milestones, deliverables, and consultant submissions. Support permitting and municipal approval processes by coordinating required documents and responses. Participate in constructability and design reviews with project teams. Assist with value engineering efforts while maintaining the overall design intent and project quality. Preconstruction & Construction Support Support coordination between design consultants, contractors, and development teams during preconstruction and construction. Assist with reviewing RFIs, submittals, add-service requests, change orders, and related project documentation. Help monitor project progress and prepare updates for leadership. Participate in site walks, project meetings, and coordination calls as needed. Assist in reviewing construction documents and identifying potential design conflicts or coordination issues. Support punch list preparation, project closeout documentation, and turnover materials. Maintain organized project files, drawings, reports, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented architectural professional with an interest in real estate development, hospitality, residential, mixed-use, and construction-related projects. They possess strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone early in their architectural career who is eager to gain hands-on experience working directly with development teams, consultants, and contractors on impactful projects across South Florida. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. 1–3 years of experience in architecture, design coordination, development, construction, or a related field preferred. Ability to read and interpret construction documents, architectural plans, and specifications. Familiarity with design development, construction documentation, permitting, and project coordination. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design/documentation software preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders. Detail-oriented with the ability to track project documents, deadlines, and deliverables. Interest in real estate development, hospitality, residential, and mixed-use projects. Working toward architectural licensure is preferred but not required. Core Qualifications Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction documents. Strong understanding of design coordination and project documentation. Familiarity with permitting and municipal approval processes. Ability to review drawings for accuracy, coordination, and consistency. Comfortable supporting multiple projects and deadlines at once. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential design or documentation issues. Ability to communicate effectively with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
