About This Role

Location: DeKalb County

We’re looking for a motivated and caring Preschool Teacher to support children as they prepare for their next educational milestones.

The ideal candidate will enjoy turning everyday classroom experiences into opportunities for discovery while providing children with structure, encouragement, and positive guidance.

• Develop and lead activities appropriate for preschool-aged children
• Incorporate storytelling, crafts, music, games, and hands-on learning
• Encourage early reading, counting, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Help children practice cooperation, sharing, and respectful communication
• Establish classroom routines that promote confidence and independence
• Supervise children and maintain a safe learning environment
• Recognize individual interests, strengths, and areas where children may need additional support
• Use constructive approaches to encourage positive classroom behavior
• Maintain organized learning materials and classroom spaces
• Document observations and other required classroom information
• Communicate appropriately with families about children's experiences
• Collaborate with other childcare professionals
• Comply with center policies and applicable licensing requirements

• CDA, TCC, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous preschool teaching experience preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must successfully complete all required background checks.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
