The Vascular Technician will perform arterial and venous diagnostic procedures using high frequency sound waves on adult patients to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting the circulation. Collaborates with physician in charge and Operations Manager on technical issues and equipment performance QA. Instill the IMS mission, vision and values in the work performed./ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliCompletes patients medical history, evaluate pulses and assess blood flow in arteries and veins by listening to the vascular flow sounds for abnormalities, and assure the appropriate vascular test has been ordered/liliConducts basic equipment maintenance, quality control measures, and report abnormal findings (if immediate attention is indicated)/liliCompletes necessary documentation, charge capture, logs and records/liliAttends regularly scheduled QA meetings for the vascular department/liliConfirms appointments with patients and follows patient scheduling protocols/liliPerform other duties as assigned/li/ulpstrongRequirements:/strong/pulliRequires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
