JOB DESCRIPTIONAt Your Green Package, the Cannabis Transporter is primarily responsible for a daily route of deliveries from marijuana establishments to other marijuana establishments. The Cannabis Transporter will coordinate with the dispatch team to make sure products are delivered in a timely manner. The Cannabis Transporter position is a hybrid role that combines driving a delivery vehicle and providing superior customer service all while working in a professional manner with our partnered marijuana establishments. The Cannabis Transporter reports directly to the Head of Delivery Operations.If you enjoy companies that are growing, moving fast, facing unique challenges, and constantly challenging themselves to achieve more, then YGP is for you.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGFollow YGP Policies & Procedures for daily operations and fully comply with state marijuana regulationsProvide exceptional services on behalf of your designated dispensaryProvide product delivery service from Marijuana establishments to other Marijuana establishmentsEnsures the safe transport of product, that manifests are complete with correct information, package quantities, dates, times, and mileageFollow assigned randomized routes and secure delivery services with signal checks as required during each routeModel best-in-class service that consistently exceeds our customers' expectations and builds a long-term rapportMaintain privacy and confidentiality of sensitive customers informationAccurately receive, prepare, and complete customers' orders and sales utilizing point-of-saleEnsure the delivery vehicle is stocked, clean, and in proper operational orderWork in close coordination with a team of other Cannabis Transporters, dispatchers, and managersSupports the teamwork effort in both starts of day and end of day proceduresAct as a liaison between Marijuana establishment and YGP management to continually improve the customer experienceAppropriately escalate customer conflict or complaint, inspiring long-term patient relationships and loyalty to our brandPerforms other duties and tasks as assignedEXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTSAge 21 or above (Required)High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)Valid Driver's License (Required): Minimum driving history of 3 yearsClean driving record (Required)Must be able to pass a drug screen (Required; THC is not a disqualifier)Ability to be flexible with varying work hours to cover all transportation needsExcellent verbal communication and human relation skills, with strong attention to detailPrevious retail or customer service experience preferredKnowledge of basic computer skills, point of sale software, and debit terminalMust successfully complete a role-specific training programAbility to deal with problems and resolve in a professional mannerMust be available to work weekends and applicable holidaysPositive attitude and strong work ethicDemonstrates high emotional intelligenceAbility to effectively multi-taskMust be highly organized and have extreme attention to detailYOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF YOU...Are self-motivatedCan work fast and be flexible; our industry is always changingBe a team player; teamwork makes the dream workThink creativelyBENEFITSPaid VacationPersonal DaysCompany Health PlanDental and VisionPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSIndoor and transportation (road-based) environments. Requires the ability to stand/sit for prolonged periods of time, and consistent attention to detail for 12 hours per day. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and perform weighing, counting, calculating, and computer processing operations.Training & Compensation DisclosureAll new hires begin in a paid training period compensated at a designated training rate ($15/hour). The training rate applies only during the training period and is temporary. Transition to the standard hourly rate occurs only after successful completion of training and required approvals.
