Growing together.We seek a part-time Staff Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. This onsite position in Richmond, VA will be scheduled 32 hours per week and will float at least one day per week between our pharmacies located in Petersburg, Farmville, and Williamsburg.Pharmacy hours are Monday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm, Tuesday-Wednesday: 8:00am-8:00pm; no weekends or holidays. Position will be scheduled 32 hours per week. Must have availability during pharmacy hours.Primary ResponsibilitiesDistributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitionersProvides information to customers about medications and their useFocuses on providing a superior level of customer serviceEnsures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of PharmacyAdministration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of PharmacyAny other usual and customary pharmacy dutiesRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmDCurrent pharmacist license in state of VirginiaCertified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hireAccess to reliable transportation and valid driver's licensePreferred QualificationAuthorization to administer long-acting injectables or willing to obtain within 3 months of hirePay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44 - $79 per hour based on full-time employment.
