PRESSURE CAST OPERATOR
Monday - Thursday
5:00 am - 5:30 pm
$22.58 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Produces acceptable quantity of bowls (rims and bodies)
- Operates machinery controls
- Performs first-line preventive maintenance and mold maintenance
- Moves ware onto ware racks after exiting conveyor.
- Able to work the green finish stations and PLC control stations while meeting quality and quantity requirements
- Performs normal record keeping duties
- Able to recognize and identify any unusual variations which could damage ware or equipment and make appropriate machine adjustments
- Performs clean-up duties as required
- Practices and follows all required safety regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervision
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Requires exposure to chemicals, dust, high levels of noise
- Requires physical demand with repetitive heavy lifting
- Requires exposure to heat, dust and high noise
- Must be able to work scheduled overtime
- Must have a working knowledge of the slip casting process and the ability to adjust to varying conditions and situations.
