The Production Supervisor will oversee production employees, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, drive productivity, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.Job ResponsibilitiesSupervise and lead production team members during assigned shiftEnsure compliance with food safety, quality, GMP, USDA, and company standardsMonitor production performance, labor utilization, yields, downtime, and key operational metricsDrive employee engagement, accountability, and performance improvement initiativesCoordinate staffing, scheduling, training, and employee development activitiesInvestigate and resolve production, quality, safety, and personnel issuesPartner with Maintenance, Quality, Sanitation, and Operations teams to achieve production goalsConduct shift meetings and communicate performance expectationsPromote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the operationSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, yield improvement, and cost savingsMaintain accurate production records and reportingAssist with implementation of new processes, products, and operational improvementsQualificationsMinimum 2 years of supervisory experience in poultry processing requiredExperience leading production employees in a food manufacturing environmentKnowledge of USDA regulations, food safety programs, and GMP requirementsStrong leadership, communication, and team-building skillsExperience managing production metrics, labor utilization, yields, and performance goalsAbility to coach, train, and develop hourly employeesProficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systemsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma methodologiesBilingual English/Spanish skills preferredExperience supporting debone, harvest, further processing, or value-added food manufacturing operationsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shiftAbility to work in cold, wet, and fast-paced production environmentsAbility to occasionally lift up to 50 poundsAbility to work overtime and weekends as needed
