Perform patient check-ins in a caring and professional manner to ensure comfort and reassurance.

Assist with maintaining the waiting area to promote a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.

Support collection of clinical and forensic specimens following established procedures.

Help cover breaks and staffing shortages in both the lobby and draw rooms, ensuring continuous patient service.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient interactions and specimen collection.

Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence.

Follow all safety protocols and promote a professional environment throughout daily activities.

Required Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle patients with care and compassion.

Excellent communication skills to explain procedures and ensure patient understanding.

Competency in data entry and keyboarding to maintain accurate records.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Capable of performing specimen collection and processing duties confidently.

Additional Skills & Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience, such as retail or home health aide roles.

Previous phlebotomy experience, including internships or externships, is required.

Experience with keyboard/data entry is necessary.

Willingness to work in both lobby and draw room settings, covering breaks and staffing gaps.

Schedule flexibility may be required to ensure adequate coverage.
