Johnson County Public Library | June 18, 2026 Job Type : Full Time Job Location: 49 East Monroe Street, Franklin, IN, 46131 Employer: Johnson County Public Library Job Description Clark Pleasant Branch An outstanding opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, customer service driven individual to oversee all operations of the STEAM Lab (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math). The selected candidate will create targeted programming and partner with local individuals and institutions to ensure space and programs meet community needs. In addition, the Specialist will collaborate with Library staff to ensure an intentional system-wide approach to STEAM programming. If selected, you will develop, implement and conduct hands‑on programming for people of all ages, as well as building relationships with community partners who can share their expertise in the Lab. Requirements for this position include a demonstrated ability to design and manage STEAM/robotics programs, exceptional digital literacy skills, and familiarity with teaching strategies supporting engaged learning. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. This full-time vacancy requires evening and weekend hours. Starting salary is $21.35 per hour with an excellent employee benefit package including paid vacation, sick and personal leave.
