Job Details Location: The healthcare provider is seeking a qualified Labor and Delivery Nurse for a temporary assignment. Certifications: BLS Basic Life Support, ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program, AWHONN the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses. Education & Experience: A minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience. Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week. Position Description: Provides skilled nursing care for laboring patients, including managing labor, administering medications, performing cervical exams, and monitoring fetal well-being with GE fetal monitoring equipment. Responsibilities include managing labor progression, titrating medications, performing cervical assessments, and handling postpartum care with a focus on couplet care. Additional information: Candidates must be fully credentialed, with no scheduled on-call required but may be asked to cover weekends or fill in as needed.
