Speech Language Pathologist PRN

Overview We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist PRN for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Responsibilities Conduct subjective assessment of assigned patient’s speech language abilities during spontaneous conversation. Administer objective tests to assess patient’s communication assets and liabilities. Structure and implement individualized patient program to improve communication abilities. Evaluate patient regularly during treatment and adjust program as needed to maximize patient progress. Document progress in patient’s chart. Complete notes, charges, discharge notes and patient communication. Consult with Program Director and Rehab Physician/Medical Director regarding pre-screen assessments and physician consultations to determine appropriate placement of potential patients.
