Automotive Mechanic We are hiring full‑time Automotive Mechanics at Mavis Tires & Brakes in Fishkill, NY, a leading tire and automotive service company. Join our state‑of‑the‑art service center that serves customers in the local area. Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. Perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks. Complete state‑mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and lift items weighing over 50 pounds. Qualifications Minimum requirements: At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. At least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training, or equivalent education and training. Extensive personal toolbox for undercar repairs. Preferred qualifications: State inspection license(s). ASE Certifications: G1 (Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair), A4 (Suspension and Steering), and A5 (Brakes). Employee Benefits Competitive weekly pay, including weekly incentive compensation.
