Job Type: 6-month contract to hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM

Interview Process: 1 and done onsite

Our client is seeking an Electronics Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electronic equipment and systems within a manufacturing environment. This position requires strong hands-on technical skills, the ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation, and a solid understanding of electrical and workplace safety practices.

The ideal candidate is mechanically and technically inclined, comfortable working with electronic components, tools, and machinery, and able to work both independently and collaboratively with engineering and manufacturing teams. Previous experience working with robotics, automated equipment, or robotic systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Test, evaluate, and troubleshoot electronic components, equipment, and systems
• Assemble, install, repair, and maintain electronic equipment within a manufacturing environment
• Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment is operating properly
• Diagnose system and equipment issues and determine appropriate repairs
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, manuals, and other documentation
• Work closely with engineers to support the development, testing, and improvement of electronic systems
• Document testing procedures, maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and equipment servicing
• Assist with the installation and support of new electronic equipment
• Train users on the proper operation and basic maintenance of electronic equipment as needed
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Accurately follow written and verbal technical instructions
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Degree, certification, or completed coursework in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field
• Previous experience as an Electronics Technician, Electrical Technician, Engineering Technician, or similar hands-on technical role
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of electronic systems, components, testing equipment, and diagnostic tools
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and equipment documentation
• Hands-on experience assembling, repairing, testing, or maintaining electronic equipment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn and work collaboratively
• Experience with robotics, robotic systems, industrial automation, or automated manufacturing equipment is a plus
• Technical degree or certification in Electronics or a related discipline is preferred

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to robotics or robotic equipment
• Experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
• Familiarity with automated machinery and electronic control systems

Compensation : $30-32/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
