The Emergency Department typically operates with a patient ratio of 5:1 but may care for full beds. The environment includes a range of equipment such as EKG, Ultrasound, LUCAS, EZ-IO, Omnicell, stretchers, and wheelchairs. The patient population includes geriatric, adult, pediatric, and obstetric patients. Candidates must possess strong assessment skills and the ability to provide interventions based on patient needs. Preferred experience includes familiarity with common diagnoses and treatment protocols in the emergency setting. Candidates should have the ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide compassionate care. Dress code requires scrub attire that is a solid color, with guidelines regarding fit and appropriateness.
