Team-based care, thoughtful caseloads, and strong infrastructure make this work meaningful—and sustainable over time.The RoleWe are hiring a Psychiatrist (FT/PT) to join us onsite in our Raleigh, NC clinic as part of an interdisciplinary team committed to providing personalized, compassionate, high-quality SMI care.What You Will Work OnProvide behavioral healthcare management to Amae Health patients; monitor and manage care through an array of treatment modalities as patients progress through phases of recoveryDevelop individualized treatment plans during the engagement and stabilization phase, focused on specific psychosocial and medical needs that might limit recoveryProvide continuous, regular consultations as patients navigate recovery, both in person and occasionally virtuallyLiaise with patient care teams and collaborate with behavioral health providers to ensure an integrated, cohesive approach to careAddress medical needs to mitigate negative impacts of social determinants of healthWhat You'll HaveBoard-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist, with a NC license and DEA that are active, unrestricted, and in good standingIn possession of or willing to obtain Clozapine REMS certificationPrior experience with mental health and/or addiction issues; familiarity with the medical, mental health, and social service systems in the Raleigh AreaHolistic perspective on health and understanding of patient rightsDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a wide range of settings with people from diverse backgroundsComfort working one-on-one or in group settings; strong coaching and negotiation skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills and ease adapting in a dynamic environmentSolid understanding of technology and a passion for utilizing technology to improve care deliveryWhat We're BuildingA national care delivery model for the highest-acuity patients in behavioral health.Precision medicine for SMI. Base salary range for this role is $270,000-$300,000 per year on a full time basis and will be adjusted to market cost. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
