Best Living Family Homes is seeking a dependable, compassionate Caregiver to support residents in a welcoming 1–2 bed Adult Family Home in Grafton, WI. This role is ideal for someone who values personalized care, meaningful relationships, and a calm, home-like environment while supporting older adults and residents with dementia and physical disabilities.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respectful assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Prepare meals and support residents with eating and hydration as needed.
• Administer or assist with medications according to the resident care plan, training, and applicable requirements.
• Complete light housekeeping, laundry, and other tasks that maintain a safe, comfortable home.
• Offer companionship and encourage resident choice, dignity, independence, and participation in daily activities.
• Observe and document changes in residents’ condition, behavior, or needs and promptly report concerns.
• Follow individual service plans, safety procedures, infection-control practices, and emergency protocols.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, healthcare providers, and team members.

 

Required Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and committed to person-centered care.
• At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Caregiving, CBRF, CNA, home care, or related experience preferred; training may be available for the right candidate.
• Ability to meet applicable background-check, health-screening, training, and certification requirements.
• Ability to safely perform the essential duties of the position, with reasonable accommodation when needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred if resident transportation is required.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• CBRF, CNA, Home Care, or related experience; training available for the right candidate.
• Hoyer lift experience.
