Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,142 per week

Job Summary Contract Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - ED - Travel/Local Candidates Accepted! Location: Winston‑Salem, North Carolina Assignment: 13 weeks starting 03/16/2026. 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts. Travel role. Job Responsibilities Provide respiratory therapy care to patients with diverse diagnoses in the emergency department and throughout the facility. Monitor and manage ventilator support and non‑invasive ventilation therapies, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Perform respiratory assessments, including arterial blood gases and equipment checks, to inform treatment plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care strategies. Document patient care activities accurately and maintain compliance with facility protocols and licensing requirements. Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare‑related training preferred. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; PALS and NRP preferred; NC licensure required. Experience: At least 1 year of critical care respiratory therapy experience; prior travel experience preferred; experience in emergency department setting preferred. Other: Ability to float throughout the facility; strong critical thinking, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities.
