Commercial Maintenance Specialist Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Pay Rate: $35/hr Location: Denver, CO 80216 Experience: 6 months Our client provides quality HVAC and plumbing maintenance, repair, and equipment replacement to a broad range of industrial and commercial customers in the Denver area and beyond. We are looking for a Commercial Maintenance Specialist to develop and maintain a portfolio of commercial service agreement customers. This role focuses on prospecting, qualifying, selling, and managing HVAC and plumbing maintenance solutions. Responsibilities: Prospect, research, and qualify potential commercial customers through existing client base, referrals, internal leads, directories, and competitor research. Conduct customer needs assessments and present HVAC and plumbing maintenance solutions. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, answer technical questions, and secure service agreements. Utilize service maintenance estimating software to develop accurate and competitive maintenance proposals. Build customer relationships through effective discovery of needs, budgets, timelines, and decision‑making processes. Perform site surveys and facility walkthroughs to evaluate equipment, system conditions, and service requirements. Collaborate with service and operations teams to ensure high‑quality execution of maintenance agreements. Monitor labor hours, materials, and subcontractor usage to ensure profitability. Travel to customer sites to support relationship management, sales efforts, and project coordination (up to 50%) Requirements: Ability to understand HVAC and plumbing systems and commercial mechanical operations. College degree or equivalent combination of technical trade education and industry experience. Advanced understanding of commercial HVAC and plumbing service sales or account management. Proven experience in B2B sales, including prospecting, cold calling, and relationship development. Strong understanding of building mechanical systems, facility management budgeting, and customer operational needs.
