Med Care Manager

Role Overview The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments accurately and safely to residents, ensuring dignity and regulatory compliance. Key duties include following physician orders, adhering to the Six Rights of Medication Administration, documenting in MAR/TAR in real-time, observing residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms, reporting concerns promptly, completing narcotic counts, and maintaining clean medication areas. The role emphasizes preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through attention to detail and infection control standards.
