Chevrolet of Troy is hiring. Join our team at Chevrolet Of Troy as a Parts Counter-person, where you will play a key role in ensuring our parts department operates efficiently and effectively. In this position, you will assist customers by providing expert knowledge on parts and inventory, handling sales transactions, and maintaining accurate records to support service operations. Responsibilities- Greet and assist customers by identifying their parts needs and providing accurate information.
- Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently using inventory management systems.
- Maintain organized and accurate inventory records.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely availability of parts.
- Manage stock levels by receiving shipments and replenishing inventory as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Previous experience in automotive parts sales or related field preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to use computer systems and inventory software effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and terminology is a plus.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
