Pediatrics, Sleep Specialist

City/State: Bronx, New York Department: Respiratory & Sleep Medicine, Division of Pediatrics, Children’s Hospital at Montefiore / Albert Einstein College of Medicine Pediatric Sleep Specialist - Clinician-Educator Track We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible pediatric Sleep Medicine specialist to join our dynamic Division. The ideal candidate will have training in Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine, an enthusiasm for academic medicine, and experience or interest in clinician education. Responsibilities Provide clinical care to children with complex respiratory and sleep disorders. Teach and mentor learners at all levels, including residents, fellows, medical students, and nurses. Participate in educational innovation, research, and quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with multidisciplinary faculty and serve in core faculty roles for the pediatric residency program and medical student education. Engage in clinical productivity activities and pursue leadership opportunities as appropriate. Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Sleep Medicine (training in Pediatric Pulmonology is preferred but not required). Strong clinical skills in the evaluation and management of pediatric sleep and respiratory disorders. Excellent communication and teaching skills, with a demonstrated ability to educate learners at all levels. Commitment to a career in academic medicine and the opportunity for scholarly productivity aligned with the Division’s mission. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and a proactive, enthusiastic attitude. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $220,000–$300,000, commensurate with academic rank. Additional compensation through clinical productivity incentives and bonuses.
