Maintenance technician

Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician who is flexible, detail-oriented, and enjoys solving tough problems repairing equipment? Do you have CMMS experience? We are looking for an individual to join a food and beverage company looking for a Maintenance Tech. This person will be responsible for providing maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of the production facility. Key responsibilities include equipment setup, teardown, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities

• Maintenance Scheduling: Plan and execute all preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Operational Excellence: Minimize production downtime by identifying root causes of equipment failure and implementing long-term technical solutions.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all repairs and facility upgrades comply with SQF, BRC, or USDA/FDA food safety standards, as well as OSHA regulations.
• Vendor Management: Oversee external contractors and manage the inventory of spare parts to ensure the plant never grinds to a halt due to a missing component.
• Technical Savvy: Deep understanding of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial refrigeration (Ammonia systems experience is a plus).
• Mindset: A "safety-first" mentality with the ability to remain calm and decisive during emergency breakdowns.
