Travel Med Surg RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekends and holidays.

The Travel Med Surg RN will be responsible for the general medical administration of medication and care, including remote tele monitoring with oversight by a monitor tech, focusing on postoperative patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Administer medications and manage patient care effectively.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to MS Tele as needed, with a patient ratio of 1:6.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 1-2+ years of Med Surg nursing experience required.
• 1+ year of recent travel nursing experience required.
• Tele experience is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Cerner experience is required.
