We are currently seeking a Shop / Equipment Operator in our Wilmington, NC office. The Shop / Equipment Operator Will Be Responsible For Completing work as assigned by the shop supervisor. Assisting in running shop machinery and equipment (e.g., CNC laser, waterjet, press brakes, shears, milling machines, lathes). Providing technical assistance (interpretation of drawings) as needed. Adhering to safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with project procedures, safety programs, and work rules. Performing additional assignments as directed by supervisor or project manager. Ideal Candidates Should Have Physical requirements include, but are not limited to: Walking/standing on surfaces that may be uneven or unstable. Working in confined spaces and climbing. Ability to routinely lift up to 75+ lbs. Excellent hand/eye coordination, depth perception, and peripheral vision. Essential Requirements & Skills Mechanically minded. Familiar with piping systems and hand/power tools. Welding experience. Experience with press brakes, shears, waterjet, laser, and plasma machines. Ability to read drawings, sketches, and blueprints. Valid driver’s license with a clean record. Strong communication skills and safety commitment. Additional Skills HS Diploma or equivalent (preferred). Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
