Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Arizona to include, but not limited to the cities of Sierra Vista, Casa Grande, Green Valley and Tucson. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, rotating Saturdays; additional days/hours as needed Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist Bilingual in English/Spanish 1 year or more experience drawing on pediatrics Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Be at least 21 years of age Valid Driver's License and clean driving record Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision At LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Float Differential Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
