Safety Coordinator

LHH is partnering with a client in Mocksville searching for an Safety Coordinator to join their team! This role will be 3-6 months with potential to convert to a permanent position. Hours are M-F 8-5 fully onsite and will pay $27-36/hr. Prior safety experience within a manufacturing environment required to be eligible for this role!

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside Safety Manager to support safety within manufacturing facility
  
• Conduct safety/OSHA trainings and ensure new hires are briefed on safety requirements
  
  
• Conduct safety audits
  
• Implement new safety SOP's based on incident history and areas for improvement
  
• Increase employee engagement related to safety
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must have prior safety experience within a manufacturing environment
  
• Process improvement and employee engagement experience required
  
• Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  
• Experience with OSHA and ISO required
