Must-Have: Able to admit new patients to the unit. Experience with different types of ventilators. Experience with Infection Prevention.

Description: Number of Beds: 19-bed unit. Number of Staff: 25 employees. Type of Staff: Day Shift - 1 Charge and 3 to 4 RNs; Night Shift - 1 Charge and 3 to 4 RNs. Patient Ratios: Critical 1:1; Neonatal 1 Nurse - 2 patients; Intermediate 1 Nurse - 3 patients. Type of Equipment: Ventilator, Jet Ventilator, Nitric Oxide Ventilator. EMR: Centricity Perinatal System & Meditech. Typical Procedures: Able to start peripheral intravenous lines; Central line maintenance and changing lines. Best Personality Fit: Willing to work and must be a team player. Floating Areas: Pediatrics and PICU. Dress Code: Scrub color/attire - Royal blue nursing uniform color. Unit Guidelines/Policies: Bare below the elbows, Attendance Policy, Infection Prevention. Weekends and On-call: Alternating weekends and 2 fall holidays.
